So far I am really enjoying the whole thing.

So happy Kyle Chandler won, now if only FNL takes down best drama!

I'd never been bothered by Drew's lisp until tonight. It was like she was doing a parody of herself. And her mismatched weave? Hideous.

Seriously! At first, I thought it was kinda fun that someone looked/acted that excited, instead of that "aw shucks, I really don't deserve this" we usually see, but when she got up and proclaimed she hadn't won anything yet (did she mean for the evening? uh, you won the first and only Emmy you've been nominated for) you could tell the audience was not thrilled with her comments. She didn't even do the obligatory recognition of her fellow nominees.

OK show. Jane Lynch was OK -- had a few bright spots and a few groans. I had high expectations for her, so I was easily disappointed.

Poor Jon Hamm. Always a smoking hot bridesmaid, never a bride.
Baby, by the time you have kids and they're in school, no one will care about you.

    My thoughts......

Love Kyle Chandler! So glad he won! If not him, then Steve Buscemi would be my next choice......

FNL should have won, I'm pissed Mad Men won.

    Katie Holmes looked like crap.

    The Jersey spoof was hilarious!

    Thrilled for Guy Pearce.

Very happy for Jim Parsons (but now I wanna hug Galecki).

Satisfied that Edie Falco at least got a nom.

Um, I was giving the show only a part of my attention but I had the closed captioning option on and I think what happened with Kate Winslet was that she said, "WE haven't won anything." I interpreted this comment to mean that although 'Mildred Pierce' had a number of nominations, hers was the first award for the production. On the other hand (the one that was not cramming M & M's into my mouth) I do recall that wonderful Guy Pierce did win an award but I am unclear on the sequence of the events. Perhaps I have watched my favorite film of his too many times. The film? 'Memento'.

    Cool

Was I the only one to notice that when Margo Martindale won and almost FELL going up those steps to the stage, that Ashton Kutcher was the only one who ran to help her?! What was that?

Not thrilled that "Modern Family" won just about every category. And no, they are NOT "America's Favorite Family." That title belongs to only one TV family and that was the Nelsons. ... because they were a real family and didn't just play one on TV.

I was so glad Melissa McCarthy won!! She's hilarious in everything she does and seemed genuinely shocked that she won. Love how they did it like a pageant!
