I just love this whole Snakes On A Plane phenomenon! The Wiki entry is so funny. Snakes on a mutha' fuckin' plane!Have you seen the Snakes On A Plane blog? I'm so getting one of those shirts!
This movie is already a classic just because of it's name. I'll be first in line to see it, SOAP t-shirt and all. I wanna hat to go with the shirt. I'm thinking of finding one of those "Don't Tread On Me" logos.

Dumbest fucking idea ever. Nothing but cheap, convoluted thrills. Therefore, a must-see!![]()
It's probably best to see this one while drunk.
The title makes me.
Yeah there's a whole grass roots effort to get citizens of los angeles bussed over to screenings of this film b/c its gonna seriously rule! Snakes on a motherfuckin' plane man! WooHOO! Sam Jackson is The Man!
* i luv films where the title explains the plot i.e. "ConAir", "Gone in 60 Seconds", "Face/Off" ... OH WAIT i shoulda just said every crappy/awesome film by Nic Cage ever made!
Apparently, Sam wouldnt star in the film unless the working title was kept as "Snakes on a plane!"
I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.
^^ That's what I heard! And Face/Off was a fucking brilliant movie!! The best in its genre!! A total guilty pleasure!![]()
Best cinematic moment ever: Nic Cage saying "Diiiiiie!"He should have won an Oscar just for that one moment.

After all the Snakes on a Plane phenomenon, I feel it's my duty to see. Like not going would be missing out on the defining cinematic moment of my generation.
Plus, it's snakes. On a PLANE!
Would you be allowed to just stand outside the theater and re-enact the title of the movie over and over and over? That sounds like a mission for Improv Everywhere or something.
You can make costumes! Someone dressed up like a plane and someone dressed up like a snake, have the snake jump on the plane, and then get "Samuel L. Jackson" to run out waving a toy gun or something and yelling "Mutha'fuckin' snakes on a mutha'fuckin' plane!" Repeat as often as desired.

I heart Sam Jackson.
Jackson Thrilled with Mile-High-Club Sex Scene

HOLLYWOOD - Samuel L. Jackson and the cast and crew of highly anticipated summer action film Snakes on a Plane were called back for re-shoots, so movie executives could add more swear words and a sex scene.
![]()
The Pulp Fiction star was thrilled when producers decided to make the mid-air thriller an R-rated film because he felt the drama should be grittier.
And he's delighted a mile-high-club sex scene in an airplane bathroom was added.
He says, "There's always the obligatory nude scene somewhere, where the guy's creeping up on the people making love.
"In this instance we have the snake creeping up on two people joining the mile-high club."
In the film, Jackson plays a detective escorting a high-profile witness on a plane which is overrun by venomous snakes, and the movie star insists the film will be a smash hit--despite its simple premise.
He adds, "This is the kind of film that I would have gone to the movies on Saturday, to the first screening, to see as a kid and I'd stay all day, watching it three or four times and me and my friends would have been freaked out."

Snakes On A Plane is like, the most ironically anticipated movie of the summer.
Suffice to say I plan to see it.
