Denise Richards Is Charlie Sheen's New Love Interest in Anger Management

Charlie Sheen's ex wife Denise Richards has been cast as his onscreen love interest for his new show "Anger Management", reported US magazine.

Charlie Sheen's ex wife Denise Richards has been cast as his onscreen love interest for his new show "Anger Management", reported US magazine. Sheen and Richards have previously been married for three years before their divorce in 2006. They have two daughters, Sam, 8, and Lola, 7. Regarding, Sheen, she told US magazine: "He's in a really good place. Everything is good. He's been very focused on our children and on his job."

Richards said in a recent interview with Extra about her new role alongside her ex-husband. "Charlie came to me and asked me to do an episode on the show. I saw a sneak peek of the first episode and it's really funny. I did a table read last week. I play a love interest to my ex-husband."

Charlie Sheen will play his first role since his famous exit from Two and a Half Men last year. His new comedy series, "Anger Management" is based on the 2003 Jack Nicholson movie. He will play "Shawnee Smith" , with Denise Richards as "Lori".
Richards, 41, began filming her part for the series in April. She tweeted on April 21: "It's a wrap! Thanks @charliesheen for a great week..had a blast! So fun working together again!!"
Richards adopted a little girl in June 2011.

These two have an odd relationship. I know plenty of people that are cordial with their ex and even some that consider their ex a friend, but I don't know any that are so chummy after the accusations these two hurled at each other. I mean didn't she basically accuse him of being sexual inpropriety with minors? I can't remember if it was about their own kids or something else, but I remember something shady being thrown out. I don't know why they don't get back together and keep themselves from inflicting themselves on anyone else.

I agree they have a very odd relationship...ugly ugly divorce, and yes I remember some allegations, I think they were internet porn related, maybe some vague things about their kids, but I think more to do with visitation with him and Brooke. I wouldn't want my kids around those toxic twins either.

I get the idea that Denise humors Charlie a lot, as long as he's sober she's more than willing to play his game, after all there's quite a bit of money involved for her and I'm sure things are much easier when he's not off in his bi-polar druggie stupor. Keeping him straight and employed obviously benefits her immensely, and it pays her well to stay on his good side.

I watched. I'll watch again. He's still Charlie Harper with a kid thrown in. The part that made me squeal and want to watch again was Brett Butler. I didn't know she was going to be on the show. I love me some Brett and she hasn't really been on tv in forever. I hope they expand her part.

Firstly she accused him of Internet porn with folks that looked underaged (the FBI allegedly seized his computers but didn't find anything to charge him with), then she coached her own kids to say stuff as part of her "reality" series. The judge threw it out when she wanted the cameras to catch the ex parte hearing in the judge's chambers so it was private....
She may have something massive on him, but shit, it's not like we didn't all know before his meltdown that he was as crazy as a fox but she went there anyway.

I read her book recently & she takes no responsibility for anything that has gone wrong in her life. Oh & she skims over the supposedly juiciest bits. Charlie and I broke up la-la-la... Heather & I weren't friends la la la... I'm not a psycho that calls my ex 20 times per day when he has custody la la la.... Well, she doesn't say that last bit but maybe she should, since the whole book is bs.

I think that Charlie likes being a dad (when he's sober & not manic) and she loves the money and associated fame, so it's a perfect symbiotic relationship. Plus I think that he knows that she was a hooker (not for Heidi Fleiss) and that & the $$$ stop her getting going psycho.
