    Default David Blaine's TV show

It's on tonight on ABC. This time he's under water. The news said his skin is falling off.

I just saw pictures at http://www.davidblaine.com

I also read two articles about this stunt and never read that his skin was falling off. They have pictures of his hands; wrinkly, yes.

His skin's not falling off, it's just completely drenched and he's in a lot of pain. Apparently his muscles have started to atrophy as well

Some of his tricks are pretty amazing -- but I hate these stunts that he does. He was VERY wrinkly on GMA this morning. It was gross.

Well, these aren't magic tricks, they are endurance stunts.

I find these more interesting than his magic tricks. I know I could never do any of the stunts he's done in the past.

I heard that his penis his numb and that it might fall of or lose potency. Good thing so maybe he won't pro-create attention-whoring "magicians".

Sorry but I don't care for his stunts.

I find his stunts kind of pointless. Mostly I just want him to do things that aren't so hard to watch.

I liked his little "magic" tricks but these stunts that he's been doing lately are not appealing to me.

He failed didn't he? Managed 7 minutes instead of the full 9.

I like his magic tricks more than these houdini rip offs. He didn't get much support in London when he sat in the glass box, actually felt a little sorry for the guy. Apparently someone was firing eggs at him with a golf club.

Since he entered the dangling box on Sept. 5, Blaine has been jeered, pelted with eggs and awakened by drummers. A tabloid newspaper grilled hamburgers under his box. A toy helicopter was sent up to dangle a cheeseburger in front of him.

I'm actually quite ashamed by the above quote but it did make me chuckle.

^^ OMG you gotta love us Brits!! Hahahaha!!

I think David Blaine is embarrassing, he's strange and what he does is pointless, I can't actually believe anyone allows him to do it never mind the fact that he actually has fans that go and watch him! The only reason I'd ever go to see one of his stunts is in case something really exciting happened, like he failed really bad or died!

    He did fail:
    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060509/...t/david_blaine

NEW YORK - David Blaine emerged weak and wrinkly from a week spent submerged within an 8-foot snow globe-like tank but without a world record for holding his breath.

Rescue divers jumped into the tank Monday and hauled up the stunt artist as he struggled to break the record of 8 minutes, 58 seconds. Blaine held his breath for 7:08, but after spending some 177 hours under water.

a toy helicopter dangling a cheeseburger. bwah ha haaaaaa!

i thought it was damn hard to watch (and not just because of the insane amount of commercials). i love his street magic, but am generally less enthused with the big stunts. the thing he did in vegas with that chick's teeth was awesome!

husband and i also enjoyed the ridiculously inane "announcer" who said such brilliant things as "he must conserve energy while at the same time using energy" and "medical emergency medicine".
