Angelina Jolie: 'Salt' Sequel in the Works?
![]()
Angelina Jolie is close to reprising her role as Evelyn Salt in the action thriller Salt.
Sony Pictures, the studio behind the first flick, “is moving forward on its much speculated Salt sequel,” Deadline reports.
Kurt Wimmer has reportedly started writing it for Angelina, who “wants to do [it] if it comes together right.”
FYI: Angelina turned 36 on Saturday (June 4). Happy belated birthday, Angie!!!

You, sir, are an intellectual lightweight, a coward, and a chauvinist pig. Do I make myself clear?

I am from the American CIA and I have a radio in my head. I am going to kill you.
I'm surprised the critics liked Salt. It felt so dated and 80s. Not looking forward to the sequel.
Oh dear god, NO! The first movie sucked![]()

Well, I was one who watched it, and I liked it. I have watched worse movies over the last few years. I wondered if they were going to make a second one, they kind of left the ending with Salt on the run.
I really liked the way it started and then just lost interest (ok and I feel asleep a little bit). but yeah I don't care for a second one.
She does need to eat. The scrawniness is aging her badly.
watched it, liked it... waiting to see sequel
*hands her a sandwich*
she was so unbelievable as an ass kicker with those twigs for limbs.
Angelina could get swept away in a strong wind, so I can't see her kicking ass and hopping across buildings.
Keep your stupid comments in your pocket!
I saw it, & it started out pretty good, but then it got increasingly & exponentially beyond unbelievable. I realize you kind of have to suspend reality somewhat for action movies, but come on, keep it at least a little bit realistic! They did leave the ending open for a sequel. I won't be watching it though.
That movie was horrible. The whole house was begging for mercy when we attempted to watch it. The ending did leave things open for a sequel but by then no one cared anymore.
The movie was pretty average. Then it got terrible. She was unbelievable. Her doing stunts was a joke, as she seemed to look unable to walk a flight of stairs without passing out -- yet totally did some Jack Bauer shit. Bah, this will suck hard.
When your daughter plays "House," she pretends to be an annoying doctor with a pill-addiction and a limp.
