Default Television Archives Interviews - your favorite tv people talk

Bookmark this site and when you have time, search for your favorite television actor, costumer, writer, producer etc. Betty White? Bea Arthur? The people who created your favorite soap opera? If you loved them as a kid, they're on here.

The interviews are uninterrupted and some of the answers are very juicy but polite. Some talk for 2 to 3 hours. They talk about their beginnings and career and discuss in depth the roles that defined them. For example, Larry Hagman was interesting because he was Major Nelson on Jeannie and JR Ewing on Dallas.

Here's the whole site where you can search.

Agree! My favorite Bette interview of all time. I think Dick was a bit turned on by her.

Watch the entire interview in parts on the same channel.
Early in her career, Bette had to be a 'test kisser'.

    Cavett channel:

Cavett had the interviews with Mitchum, Katharine Hepburn (probably the greatest), Brando, Capote, Groucho, Gloria Swanson.

Janis Joplin and Raquel together (brilliant).

I'll have to watch when I get home thanks Chalet!

Betty was quite damn witty even as her health worsened and worsened

I read her autobiography and she sure went through a lot of health problems in her last years. hard living didn't help, but she still didn't let it get her down, after all she "did it the hard way".

I can't watch Bette after her stroke. I just can't.

Here's Bette in her usual form. She meets Richard Pryor.

    Wait for Bette's Chaarrrrrmmming.........

yeah and she stayed there and was engaging; assholes nowadays don't bother to stay past their time on the show - they have to leave b/c they're too good to stick around for the duration of the show

anyways, sad to think all those people are dead now including Tower Records!
