The Office
I could have sworn there was a thread already started about this kick ass show, but alas, I could not find it....
So.....even if there is, we're starting a new one!
Ok, I'll be honest, it took me awhile to warm up to this show...but I am now semi addicted. And was pissed it wasn't on during the Olympics, I mean, who the hell wants to watch that shit?? Anyway, the best part of the show, imho is the 'love story that isn't' between the receptionist and that guy (sorry, I don't know characters names yet). It's the cutest damn thing..
It's on tonight! Yippie!

Re: The Office
Are you watching the US version, or the UK original? If so, it's Dawn the receptionist and Tim the salesman.

Re: The Office
If you like the 2 UK series, watch them and then get hold of the 'Christmas Special' where the story reaches it's conclusion.

Re: The Office
I finally got to see the Brit version, and I love it just as much as the American one. They are different, and there are different reasons to love them. I like Pam and Jim a lot more than Dawn and Tim, though. They're sweeter and just seem perfect together. Plus, I kinda love Jim....

Re: The Office
The Office is being repeated now in England, think its on UK Gold or Paramount Comedy, I can watch them over and over again. Absolutely love it. Gareth is hilarious. The funny thing is if you do work in an office you do see similarities in the characters.
I haven't seen the US version, I think it would be too weird for , I think of the characters as real people and to see someone else playing them would be bizarre.

Re: The Office
I have a nephew (by marriage thank God) who is a DEAD ringer for Gareth in both looks and personality.

Re: The Office
Pam & Jim--that's their names!!! It's just the cutest little story those two...makes you really root for them, even though she is engaged to someone else.....
I've never seen the UK version, but have heard from many people it's hilarious.
Last night was a repeat, but a funny one....Diversity Day Take 2!

Re: The Office
I finally saw it for the first time last night.
I love love love the BBC version. The reason why I never wanted to see the american version is I'm afraid they will ruin it. Plus, I dont think anyone can top Tim, Gareth and David!
But I was really impressed last night. Steve Correll was good as the American David.
Will definitely watch again.
