I didnt care for Stevie Wonders rendition of "Bridge over Troubled Water" I want to like it but he is trying to sound like the other pop stars bow, His voice going all over the place. Takes the emotion out of it for me. He was struggling with the high notes

I loved Mary J singing that gospel song. Christina Aguilara can really sing too. Madonna was an embarassment.

BTW: I'm sure the tabloids and gossip entertainment shows soon will have
the newest of the Pitt/Anniston rumors since he was there and she was
there but FishlippedandBugeyed wasn't (as far as I know).

Seeing the kind of ridiculous crap Christina Agulilera wears, I sometimes forget what a set of pipes she has. She has a gorgeous voice.

Christina, Justin and Beyonce were good. And I usually can't stand the last two. Christina probably has the best vocal range out there (in the pop world.)

I'm not a Mary J. Blige fan, she usually screams too much, but she really
excelled last night. Aguilera has a powerhouse voice and she's in total
control of it. I just regret that she always has to yell so much, that's
totally unnecessary. Alicia screamed a bit too much, too, last night,
but I forgive her because she can play piano like the devil, wow.
All in all my fave performances were pretty much the ones I posted in
the opening post. Rihanna surprised me, in a positive way. The combo
of Sheryl, Kid Rock and Urban was good, too. Timberlake and the other
guy gave me goosebumps, so beautiful.

egads Madonna sucked so bad. the worst of the evening.

i thought Justin Timberlake was awesome, who was that guy with him?

Beyonce bangs drove me nuts, but she sounded good.

Another one that was interesting was Kid Rock, Sheryl Crow, & Keith Urban singing "Lean on Me." Keith Urban has a nice voice - I don't like country music so I've never really heard him before.

Agreed. Mary and Christina were the best performers of the night. Madonna was bad, as usual. I like Jennifer Hudson's voice, but she has too much power and not enough control yet.

I wasn't home for one drop of it. I've got to watch Madonna. Thanks for the videos, I'll catch up.
