    Default White Collar

Anybody check out the new show 'White Collar' on the USA Network. The pilot aired Friday and I love the show. It reminds me of Burn Notice in the way that it strikes a good balance of drama and humor.

A lot like Burn Notice, Psych etc.

But it's a good DVR show.

I love Psych and Burn Notice and I'm glad White Collar is a show I can watch until they come back from hiatus.

I'm a big big fan of Psych and Burn Notice. I caught some of White Collar and thought it was pretty good.

Oh, yes, I liked White Collar, as well as most of the USA Network shows. Matt Bomer is a cutie. I have always liked Tim DeKay as well.

    So far, so good.

USA does have some good shows.

I am very sad that Monk is ending!

I didn't see that twist with Peter coming in the Fall finale of the show. But I doubt he's a bad guy.

The Fall season finale was awesome! When Kate walked in the door and said hello to Peter, I was outta my chair. YES!! I am one of the oddballs and I like the character of Peter Burke more than Neal Caffery. At first I found the NC character charming, now he just annoys the crap outta me. lol The more I look at him, the creepier he becomes.

Same here. I like Peter more than Neal, too. Neal's character is one note as the charming con man. Peter's character seems to have more layers, and the finale proved it.

Neal kept going on about how much he loves Kate, but throughout her entire 'kidnapping' he was flirting with every woman in sight. I think that may be the show's way of laying the groundwork for Kate being the 'bad guy,' so Neal won't be too devastated by her stabbing him in the back.

Kingcap, I totally agree, he is suppose to be oh so in love with Kate and yet beds down women. The scriptwriters are working way to hard in convincing the viewers. His creepiness is when he gazes at the women it looks more like he's about to slash their throats, than show them a good time.

Peter on the other hand, just as you say has many layers, and Tim DeKay does a great job of showing the strengths and the weaknesses of his character. NC is one dimensional.

Exactly, Sheba. He stares at women like he's about to kill them. But, then again, he stares at everyone like that. It's a little creepy. Tim Dekay is just a better actor, and has a more three-dimensional character to play, than Matt Bomer does.

I will unabashedly admit I watch this show only for the eye-candy that is Matt Bomer. And when I say "watch" I mean that I keep the TV on while I do other things--I couldn't tell you the plot or even his character's name. Just being able to look up every once in a while and stare at Matt Bomer's fine ass is good enough for me.

^^ Bomer may be eye-candy, but Dekay is better.
