Talking Passions on the SciFi Channel

I have to watch Passions on SciFi starting from the beginning!!! w/ the PRincess Di subplot bullshit! I didn't start watching the show till a couple weeks after it began so i missed all that Sheridan in Paris crap-o-la and Teresa spilling shit on Ethan all the time b/c she was always spying on him, but i can't wait, the show was always soo bad it was goood.

Its so funny how that bitch Teresa was so poor cause her "widowed" mom has 5 kids and is a maid at the richest family's home in Harmony and Teresa was always dressed in the best clothes and accessories like WTF?!

oh yeah and i want to see how that anorexic bitch Charity's mom died in that fire and Miguel (jesse metcalf pre-desperate housewives fame) was soooo freaking hot back then, but a terrible actor like the rest of the cast which adds to the funnyness of the show!

OMG and Timmy! sweet little Timmy the doll, I miss him soooo much too why did he have to die I'm glad I got to meet all of them back when I was an obssessed fan who went to Passions events in L.A. and before that little guy died.

oooo and I loved Julian and Ivy back when they were evil and total wealthy assholes!

I think I flipped by that particular soap once, and the planet was about to be destroyed by a meteor or something

I thought that was hilarious, on a soap opera?

yeah it never tried to be a "good" show or anything, and it was always tongue-in-cheek w/ characters talking to the camera and horrible puppets and ridiculous "special effects" if you could call them that. Its funny cause its such a slow show, the plot moves really slow especially in the beginning and I can't beleive its still on the air, you can miss it for a whole year or two and get caught up after watching 1 episode!
Timmy

Played By: Josh Ryan Evans (1999-2002)

Family: Timmy had no family by blood, but Tabitha was like a mother to him. Tabitha used her magic to turn the doll she created into a living boy - Timmy.

Death: Timmy died saving Charity.

Love Life: Timmy had no love life, but he had a crush on Charity. Timmy's heart was donated to Charity.

Occupation: Timmy was the writer of the best-selling book, "Hidden Passions."

Best Friend: Tabitha

Favorite Beverage: His own creation, the MarTimmy.

Enemy: Timmy's biggest foe was Fluffy the Cat. He wasn't too crazy about axe-wielding Norma either.

tell me this guy isn't gay! (but i was obsessed w/ him anyways)

and I stopped watching after this:

cracked face connie was her name.

I get gaydar pings about that guy, but it's hard to tell with just a face shot... although the face shot has a hint of "Just Jack!" and is kinda simpering, so yeah.. i'd say he was a poof.

What's with the cracked face thing?

I watched it from the beginning but don't watch it that much anymore. Poor, poor timmy. He had to be the cutest thing ever. But in real life, I think he was my age.

she was the "replacement" for timmy after he died, but she was evil and no one liked her so she was quickly taken off the show...

Cracked Connie
Portrayed By: Kacie Borrowman (2002)
Family: None.
Job: To cause mayhem and pain in Harmony.
Personal Information: Cracked Connie is a scarfaced doll brought to life by Zombie Charity and Tabitha's friends in the basement as an attempt to help Tabitha move on. She has recently become involved with Hecuba, who has asked Connie to free her from the bottle in Tabitha's basement.

Josh Ryan Evans, the actor who played Timmy, died the very same day his character did. Evans, 20, died at a San Diego hospital from complications related to a congenital heart defect. He also suffered from a rare disease that stunted his growth at 3-foot-2.

I need to scan the photos I have of me and him, he barely came up to my kneecaps and his huge red-headed mom was his protector; I remember that some kids were trying to bother him at this one fan event I went to (they were about 11 or 12 and twice his size and you kno how cruel kids can be) he ran over to his mommy and held onto her leg like a scared toddler...

"The charm of "Passions" lies in its silliness and insanity. Unlike other soaps, it doesn't take itself seriously. Its success comes from its embrace of camp and its zest for integrating the completely unexpected, from introducing a zombie as a main character to making a closet a portal into hell. "Passions" won't give up its anything-goes supernatural bent, but without Evans, a crucial element of will be missing.

Timmy gave "Passions" its soul. He loved his good-hearted neighbor Charity, but remained a loyal sidekick to her arch-enemy, Tabitha, the witch who created him. He served as her conscience and tried to stop the evil that lingered over the town. His innate sweetness guided his every decision, and in the end, it was his good nature that killed him.

Evans played the part with aplomb, donning crazy costumes and wigs, fighting demons and taking off on strange adventures. He reveled in his popularity, and the fact that his role allowed him to do anything: hang out with a 300-year-old witch, fight a zombie that froze his beloved neighbor and outwit an evil scarecrow while dressed as Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz." He conveyed Timmy's pure heart and managed to maintain his dignity while bringing to life what may be the most whacked-out soap character of all time.

And for that, he'll be remembered. In most soap operas, several actors often play a single character, because the actor is replaceable. But when it comes to Timmy, there isn't anyone else. No one but Evans could fill out that tiny Don Ho wig and win over viewers' hearts. He will be missed."

That's SO true. rofl. I hadn't watched the show, and I started watching it last year and I swear I knew about almost everything that had ever happened on the show within a week or two. It moves like molasses and they constantly recap you on everything.

I love it.. it's such a funny show and it has a real sense of humor about itself.

Its one odd soap opera.

yeah I watched the first episode on Monday and it was so ridiculous, but everyone so much younger and handsomer!

It was funny to see Sheridan pretend to be friends with Princess Diana and talk to her on the phone right before she died...
