    Default The Dog Whisperer

I got my first dog 2 yrs ago. Ive always been a cat person, but boy have I been missing out. I love be a dog owner so much that I got a second one 5 months ago. Because Im so new at this Ive become addicted to this show.

Tonight looks interesting. Cesar will be visiting Patti La Belle in hopes of curing her fear of her 150lb guard dog.

    It's on tonight 8pm Nat'l Geo station.

I own his two books and watch his show and Dog Town. Because of Dog Town I'm trying to do my small part to ban puppy mills.

However Dear Cesar when a pitbull runs after your lap dog, it is impossible to not show anger and fear. It is also impossible not to dislike the owner and his dog especially when you know his dog will eat your dog if given another chance.

Love Cesar, and his dog family. We have two dogs (my 9th and 10th dogs). I loved them as if they are my children. All our dogs came from rescue, and all died either from old age (one lived to be 17) or illness. When we adopt, they stay till the end. I've had two pitbulls and four dobermans, and they are my favorite breeds. I don't watch dogtown too often (only have so much time for TV!), but I did watch the one about the Michael Vick dogs. It made me cry. They did an amazing job with those poor dogs. That someone could do all the things Vick did! He should rot in hell.

Cesar is amazing, but I don't think a lot of his techniques are practical. I really like Victoria Stilwell's techniques as they are more practical. She has several shows including "It's Me or the Dog".

I prefer Cesar's show because he gets more involved. And I don't even have a dog.

Victoria looks too dominatrix to me.

Sometimes it cracks me up when Cesar says there is no dog I can't handle and I'm watching some dog eat him up... like the husky or the grayhound mix Curly (who came to live with him)

If you like the Dog Whisperer you can catch it almost anytime. The one that killed me was the dog with post traumatic war syndrome. I cried through the entire thing....hum his name was Gavin.

I love her. She is very practical. She has loads of common sense as well.

Some of those people she helps are whack jobs, no wonder they have problems with their dogs.

In a recent ep, this guy's girlfriend wanted to get the dog out of their bed. Guy seemed very onboard with it. Victoria gets a dog bed set up next to the humans' bed, which the dog loves. A nightcam that night shows weirdo guy pulling the dog back into his bed! Girlfriend should run and not look back LOL.

Cesar is definatly got some good tips, lots if them worked with our older dogs, and the young dogs, though I find he is lacking alot in really young puppy info.

I like to watch this show every so often. I always laugh at the chihuahuas freaking out. Those dogs are a trip.
