Default Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes in remake of Clash of the Titans

Liam Neeson And Ralph Fiennes To Clash As 'Titans' - Starpulse Entertainment News Blog

Liam Neeson is set to bounce back after the shock death of his wife Natasha Richardson by starring opposite longtime pal Ralph Fiennes in the Clash Of The Titans remake.
The two stars are set to play warring gods in the update of the cult 1981 film. Neeson will play Zeus, according to The Hollywood Reporter, while Fiennes is in negotiations to take on the role of Hades, ruler of the underworld. The film set will be a more cheerful get-together for Neeson and Fiennes, who last met at Richardson's New York state funeral in March.
The all-star cast will also feature Aussie hunk Sam Worthington as Greek hero Perseus and James Bond stars Gemma Arterton and Mads Mikkelson. Mikkelson will play Draco, a fearless warrior, while Brit Arterton will take on the part of Io, a love interest of the movie's protagonist Perseus.
The original film starred Ursula Andress as Aphrodite, Laurence Olivier as Zeus and Maggie Smith. Harry Hamlin was the original Perseus.

I loved that movie. Ursula Andress was a great goddess.

Good casting. Liam will make a good Zeus.

Remember Calibos? He was one of my favorites.

i love the cheap special effects

all the female goddesses will be played by barely legal "actresses" with fake boobies

It looks like Lisa Rinna wanted her lips to look like her husband Harry.

I loved Clash of the Titans and Harry Hamlin on LA LAW!

I always thought they should remake Clash of the Titans with better effects. So, this is one remake I'm looking forward to.

After watching the new Clash of the Titans tuesday night, my first suggestion: if you're going to see this film, see it in 35 MM, not 2D or 3D because you'll be angry at the price differential...the 3D is barely noticeable.

Second, the original film in Blue-ray HD is a must-have! You'll be happy you own it.

Sam Worthington is my boy...so of course I'm going to see it again in 35 MM on the big screen at the Uptown in DC. However, some of my friends were very disappointed with the new storyline changes and can't recommend the new film. I'm betting it will do well the first & second weekend, but it should drop off with bad word-of-mouth. It would've been better if they left the 3D off.

Harry Knowles of 'Ain't it Cool News' review is spot on.

I agree with Harry Knowles review. I have just seen this and was very disappointed.

The action scenes were fantastic but the film is let down by a poor and weak script. Not even Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson could save this.

It isn't a bad film just not one i would recommend.

BTW i saw this in 2D and having read other posts on blogs i am glad. Like others have said apparantly the 3D doesn't really show up too much on screen.
