I'm watching the women's half-pipe snowboarding. Wow. These chicks are amazing! I do like the American's red, white & blue plaid shirts!

The men's figure skating final is just starting.

Jeremy Abbott has been on the ice less than 2 minutes and is already melting down.

Poor baby. I just hope he does better than the short program.

Evan Lysacek is up next after a group warm up. I can barely watch -I am so nervous.

Great. Elvis Stojko is already over on Yahoo's olympic coverage whining about how whiney boy was robbed and figure skating is ruined. STFU Elvis!

So proud of Evan! I loved how pissy Plushenko looked on the podium. It's called karma, and it hurts.

I'm already sick of the whole "hometown hero" thing though. They just interviewed Evan's pediatrician on the news, I shit you not.

Yay for Evan & Team USA! He did a superb job and deserved the win. He's worked and steadily gotten better since the Turin Olympics and he was ready for this.

I think Johnny Weir did the USA proud, too. He skated his long beautifully and that's the first time I can remember in several years where he skated his short and long so well. No sour grapes, but I do think he deserved to finish much higher than 6th. He handled it well, however, and just seemed to be proud of himself for doing so well. Still love him!

No day, are they talking about the track star from Chicago too?

Johnny W was totally robbed. I'm not sure he deserved to beat out the Japanese skater who took bronze but his scores should have been much higher. He showed a lot of grace by asking the audience not to boo the scores/judges.

Nope, pretty much all the coverage has been about Evan. It's been pretty ridiculous. They're talking to pretty much anyone who has ever talked to him.
