Eh, don't worry about that. USA will take care of it for ya. We don't want anything to happen to Vancouver...

I think they're going to riot anyway. NBC had coverage of the "somber" crowd after the US hockey win last week. Turns out everyone in the crowd were partying like mad men. The announcer same something like "Molson solves all problems." Seriously, there was no way you'd think their team lost.

I'm so happy that my country finally won it's very first 'snow' medal, and it was a gold one. All our medals in the past have been on ice and the last non speed skating medal was back in '76.

You're welcome. I've been watching the alpine and speed skating events on there all week. Fuck NBC.

hum the 500 short track mens - looked to me like everyone fouled everyone on that one. Maybe it was karma because of that team bronze in the womens relay.

OK now I'm going to cheer for the U.S. in mens hockey. and for bob sledding too!

AWESOME short track men's speed skating eh? That's exactly how the Aussie guy won gold 8 years ago. He was actually commentating on TV here and couldn't stop laughing. Not sure why the American was DQd but hey........

Yeah, it doesn't even really matter if we win or lose....Vancouver is going to be absolutely fucking mental. Plus, the closing ceremonies are on right after the game, it's going to be mayhem. I will be (pleasantly) surprised if there isn't a riot.

Me too! 4-man bobsleigh, USA sled 1 is ahead and I think that team is ready to knock it completely out of the park. And hockey? Should be a great game. (U S A!!)

I don't think I have ever seen so many crashes on any course. No wonder that one team refused to go down it. Last night it was the Russians, I was waiting for him to go over and kick a wall or something. The man was ticked.

I couldn't find the skating gala, thanks McJag for putting it on the board.

This was really a fun Olympics, I had two TV's Ti-vo'ing events on different channels and I don't think I missed many events. They showed CURLING more than I wanted to see and I wish I could have seen more people compete other than just the top. I'm sure there were a lot of crashes in figure skating on the lower levels

I think the Ice Gala will be on at 7, NBC. Limited commercials, I believe.

I could not believe it...he basically pushed off on the guy heading into the last turn and the guy went down. It was so obvious on replay. They said it was because the guy fell when he was 'pushed'.

Oh well. At least I got to see some falls..women's skating was so disappointing in that!
Don't slap me, cause I'm not in the mood!
