It's harder for me to get into the ice dance too and it's because they don't jump. I know that it's supposed to be very difficult to get the footwork and edges down for dance, but there's no nailbiting about it for me.

but it's more fun when they get tangled up in each others feet and fall.

I like ball room dancing and thats pretty much what it is only it's done on ice. I really like Tanith and Ben.
Our other pairs team has a guy that looks like Gwendal Peizerat, so I went to Gwendals site and by golly he's on facebook and myspace AND he's still so very romantic looking. Our guy looks like a wannabe Gwendal.

I heart Apollo, I'm happy for any and all his wins.

Apolo was amazing! I have to admit, though, that I was really nervous for him. He almost didn't get a medal in the 1500m if the two Koreans hadn't wiped out and he almost lost even the bronze last night after a slip. I'm sure he had to be a bit disappointed since he came to Vancouver for gold, but he always has a positive attitude and says its about the journey and not the destination. He's grateful. Those Koreans are fierce though and they've obviously never been taught sportsmanship. I really despise them. Had the Hamelin brothers defeated him, I could live with that.

Congrats to Apolo for becoming the most decorated Winter Olympian ever!!

It's been fun following Apolo's Twitter. He's feeling pretty happy today so I'm happy for him.

Yes-the Hamelin boys would have been just as great. The Korea team is really good-Apolo says they are first class athletes. Can't warm up to them...

That race was crazy! I was screaming for the Hamelins but was just as excited for Ohno.

Am I the only one that thinks the bearded Hamelin looks just like Bret from Flight of the Conchords? Which is a good thing as I find him yummy.

^ Is it on one of NBC's other channels like USA or MSNBC? I'm watching NBC and it's skiing right now.

Yeah, it's on MSNBC right now.

Current score is 2-1 US-CAN, but that could change any second.

It's been a good 2 days for my homeland. Gold on the men's 1500m speed skating yesterday and now also gold on the women's 1500m speed skating.

Ugh, NBC just started the ice dance too.

OMG at Samuelson & Bates' Dixie Chicks original dance.

I know! It's overwhelming. I'm going to go through major withdrawals when this all ends.
