Rafa the Clay God is defeated by Soderling! His first defeat ever at Roland Garros!!! Amazing.

Lets go Fed, this is your chance. No Rafa, Djokovic...don't fuck it up!!
When you came in the air went out. And every shadow filled up with doubt. I don't know who you think you are, But before the night is through,I wanna do bad things with you.

Shit. Rafa lost! I'm so sad.

I dont care who wins now as long as it is NOT Andy Murray.

I loathe Soderling with every fibre of my being.

Rafa didn't play well...but losing to Soderling? Meh.

Stupid Tennis Channel decided to skip this Rafa game. I hope they or NBC will replay it later today. I was just keeping the score online and had a feeling that Rafa must have played like crap. Not even getting to quarter-final? Urgh.

It pains me to say this, but Soderling did play well. Rafa was well off his game today - tiredness or just an off day I don't know - and couldn't make shots he'd normally get. I also think the pressure of breaking a record played it's part.

Still, on the bright side - he can get a good rest before Queens and Wimbledon.

i really HATE the Tennis Channel. rather than show me the Rafa / Soderling match (bows head in memory of my Rafa) i got to witness the gd SHRIEKING of Victoria Azarenka. finally i just turned on Meet the Press.

When are they going to do something about these bitches that scream!

also not a good day for Spain as both Rafa AND Fernando Verdasco lost.

Well he's not playing his best at the moment, and now there's more pressure of creating history if he wins this. But fingers crossed!!

Congrats to the 2009 French Open Champion Roger Federer!!

Roger ties Sampras at 14 slams.

it was a good match. Soderling was a class act in his loss. While i'm not a Fed fan at all, it was nice to see Roger win this.

Rafa pulled out of Queens with knee probs, and there's word he might pull out of Wimbledon.

Here's a vid of the guy that tried to get at Roger to put a hat on him during the match
