Not down here. It was beautiful and no humidity! I actually straightened my hair for the first time in months.
    Miami won!! Woohoo!

Last night's game pissed me off and they aren't even my teams! I hate that NFL games can end on a tie.

Lions win 3 in a row. Detroit sportswriters now think Matt Stafford is the second coming of something.

Our O-line looked weak on Sunday. More work needs to be done. Hoping Zim can shape them up.

Not impressed with the Eagles fans after what my daughter experienced at that stadium on Sunday.

I've always heard that Philly fans are the worst, although the couple of Eagle fans that I know are great.

Two very drunk and obnoxious women were sitting in front of my daughter and her friend. They basically ran their mouths to them most of the game, but later in the game she reached back and rapidly elbowed Kenzie in the ribs 4 times, and pulled at her hair once. Through out the game they were also throwing beer and food at them, spitting, calling them lude names and saying lets kick their ass, ect., and finally saying they would put a bullet in their Minnesota head in the parking lot. Kenzie and her friend finally left their seats and told security, and then security went to dealt with it. The security guys were nice and let the girls sit in a good viewing area for the rest of the game, away from their seats. And then after the game, a man and woman security guard walked them out and did apologize profusely, so that was very nice of them, at least.

Yeah...it was pretty bad. The weird thing is that they were so worked up and they were beating us. I think I am actually glad that we lost. If we would have been beating them, it might have really fueled and ignited the situation. Yikes...I am just glad she made it out of there alive...lol

I just don't get treating ANYONE that shitty,..especially over a damn football game. A really small thing in the big scheme of life. *shakes head*

Any time I've expressed interest in going to a Detroit Lions game, I've gotten feedback such as, "you really don't want to do that" from people due to reasons like this one. I'm hearing the football crowd is a totally different animal than the baseball or hockey crowd.

Aw shit Greys this makes me so sad:

    Marty Schottenheimer has Alzheimer’s disease

Former KC Chiefs head coach Marty Schottenheimer, 73, has Alzheimer’s disease, according to a report from ESPN’s Tony Grossi on Friday. He was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s about five years ago. “He’s in the best of health, [but] sometimes he just doesn’t remember everything,” his wife Pat said. “He functions extremely well, plays golf several times a week. He’s got that memory lag where he’ll ask you the same question three or four times. He remembers people and faces, and he pulls out strange things that I’ve never heard, but he’s doing well. It’s going be a long road. We both know that.”

This is sobering news but you wouldn’t know it reading Marty’s quote in this ESPN story. “I’m sitting here looking at a lake and it’s a spectacular setting,” he said. “Pat and I, the Lord’s blessed us. I mean, there’s no other way I can identify it. We’re doing really good.”

Let’s keep him in our thoughts. He was THE coach of a generation of Chiefs fans.
I am going to come and burn the fucking house down... but you will blow me first."
