^So did I and I'm not even British! You could just tell how much it meant to her, and how much pressure she was under and the relief she felt. She deserved it.

    It was emotional!

I know it's really unpatriotic of me, but I still want Federer to win gold. I'll cheer for Andy in the mixed doubles though!

Haha! I wouldn't mind Andy winning as it is for gold, but I'm a Fedtard.

I enjoyed the men's floor final in the gymnastics. It's amazing what they can do!

Have to say I'm cheering on Del Potro in the battle for bronze. Which makes me feel a little guilty, because I do like Novak, but c'mon, he has won so much. Plus DelPo deserves something after his immense battle with Fed.

I just have to marvel at the whole thing! Such talent and very hard work. So many countries with great athletes, even tiny islands.
Michael Phelps was saying he was going to visit that South African swimmer (that beat him) and they were going in that cage with the white sharks swimming around.
Imagine the lifelong friendships being made.
I was happy for Botswana to win that gold!

That was so exciting! Our announcers said several times "The entire country is happy with Andy" and everytime I'd have to add "Except Sarzy".

Way to go, GB! I was cheering for Murray and saw two of the male gymnasts scored silver and bronze in the floor exercise.

If any of you are on Twitter, Samuel L Jackson was live-tweeting the Olympics yesterday and it was cracking me up.

That sucks for McKayla Maroney. NBC was heavy handed before she vaulted, basically saying her doing the vault was a formality, because of course she was going to win. Then she didn't. Unnecessary commentary. She's only 16, so maybe she can still go again when she's 20 if she wants to continue.

And Germany's Oksana Chusovitina is a fucking beast and my hero. She's 37 years old and still flinging herself over that damn vault. This is her 6th Olympics!

Does anyone know why some of them wore what looked like ballet slippers on their feet? Romania's Sandra Raluca appeared to have them on during her vault. It seems like it would make your feet slip on that mat, but I guess not.
