The Olympics for me, has turned into "The Bob Costas' Eye Situation" show. I can't quit gawping at that thing. Poor Bob, and his oozy eye.

His eye is kind of a magnet, isn't it?

Hope I'm in the right thread.

I'm new to watching the Olympics and do not know all the rules and guidelines,..but on this Skiathlon, do they have time trials beforehand to determine their position for the start?

NBC sucks. You would think on a Sunday they would start some sort of coverage in the morning. But no, they do not. Idiots.
All that is on NBC west coast are infomercials.

NBC Sport station has been covering it all day (they just completed their coverage), but not all cable companies offer it. Fortunately mine does, and the coverage has been live. Now when parent station NBC takes over, the coverage is video-taped and rehashed.

We don't have cable...so we are at the mercy of broadcast NBC and what they choose to show us. None of it has been live that I am aware of. But that is okay...just glad to see a big array of events that have been edited without the pauses and waiting.

Been enjoying the games so far. Loved that Sage K (I'm not going to attempt it) won the first slope style gold although I did fee bad for the Canadian with the broken rib. He just seemed so defeated both Thursday night and last night.

Loving the figure skating and I do really appreciate the team competition.

Can't wait for bobsledding, my favorite!!!
I have got to stop going on FB and basically any news site, I keep getting spoiled. Frustrating as hell.

I am following Bob Costas' Eye on Twitter lol. Hasn't tweeted much, but I thought it was hilarious.

Meryl doesn't even try anymore. She just calls Lanvin and asks for curtains with a belt.~Bitter
Can we interest you in Leann Rimes? She has a nice little cadre of fans you'd probably enjoy.~ Pecan Pie

I did finally notice his eye last night, after reading about it here. WTF happened to his eye?? Has he mentioned it on air? Looks like he has more than pink eye to me. Pink eye will start clearing up shortly after getting the medicated drops. This shit is getting worse and spreading to both of his eyes. Looks painful....
