I'm going to try to follow K-State and U of Washington this year. I'm going to start slowly getting into college ball, because I really do need to learn what is going on so i can help my son.

I picked Washington because 1) I once dated a guy with an orange bowl ring from there and 2) our new stud rookie corner Marcus Peters just came from there. K-State is obvious why. And BONUS, they both wear purple so i don't have to go out an buy a bunch of crap since I have K-State gear up the wazoo.

We're 4-0. I'm not quite sure what to do with myself, only two more wins for bowl eligibility haha.

    FORE!
The Hawkeyes are trying to improve to 4-0 for the first time since 2009, and the fourth time under Kirk Ferentz. Iowa finished 11-2 the last time it started the season 4-0. The 2009 Hawkeyes won their first nine games, finished 11-2 overall, and won the 2010 FedEx Orange Bowl. The 2006 Hawkeyes started 4-0 and participated in the Alamo Bowl. The 2003 Hawkeyes started 4-0 and went on to finish 10-3 with a win over Florida at the 2004 Outback Bowl. Iowa is 3-0 for the sixth time since 2001.
Were you there today? I actually thought our D looked sloppy at times. Almost sleepy. I wouldn't have said Beathard had a great game either but his stats were off the charts. Maybe my migraine clouded my vision. LOL

It was an ugly, knock down, drag out fight but it was a great game!

This past Saturday? No, I was at a restaurant/bar downtown that showed the K State played OK State and we lost by two points. Next week we play Texas Christian at home and then the Sooners at home.

I just checked the schedule and we play Iowa state on Nov 21.

Well feel free to kill IA State please.

We won Saturday but the injuries are piling up. Drew Ott is our beast on D and he went down with an ACL. So terrible because he was/is easily an NFLer. We are all heading to Northwestern next weekend to watch the game. I HATE HATE HATE Northwestern with the strength of a 1000 suns.

Northwestern always gives us a hard time, and I'm sure they are extra mad because of what Michigan did to them. If we make it past NW though...

MSU-Michigan and PSU-OSU should be great games, looking forward to both.

At least Nebraska has a nice coach now. I'm sure they all want Bo back, the Nebraska fans I know do..

Source: Florida's Will Grier suspended for season after positive PED test

Florida Gators quarterback Will Grier has been suspended for the season for violating NCAA rules, according to a source.

Grier tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs, a source said. The positive test carries an automatic one-year suspension from the NCAA.

Grier's positive test was the result of something the quarterback took over the counter that he did not get approved by Florida trainers, a source told ESPN.com's Derek Tyson.

News of Grier's suspension was earlier reported by gridironnow.com.

A freshman from Davidson, North Carolina, Grier has thrown for 10 touchdowns, three interceptions and 1,204 yards for the eighth-ranked Gators.

Florida (6-0, 4-0) will travel to Death Valley to face No. 6 LSU (5-0, 3-0) in an SEC showdown on Saturday at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

Grier had been a breath of fresh air for the Gators at quarterback. He became the first Florida quarterback since Tim Tebow in 2009 to pass for more than 200 yards in three consecutive games. Grier's completion percentage, passing yards per game and TD-to-interception ratio is also the best by a Gator since 2009. His completion percentage (65.8) and scramble yards (154) rank first in the SEC.

With Grier out, sophomore Treon Harris will likely start for coach Jim McElwain's team. Harris started the season opener before giving way to Grier, but he was also suspended earlier this season for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

Grier has a higher completion percentage (65.8) and lower percentage of passes off-target (10.2) than Harris (53.6 and 22.8), according to ESPN Stats & Information. However, Harris averages 1.8 more yards per attempt. Harris has appeared in two games this season and thrown for 269 yards and two touchdowns, with no interceptions.

The Wynn race and sportsbook moved LSU from a 6.5 to 7.5-point favorite over Florida after the news. Wynn executive director John Avello initially opened LSU -5 on Sunday night, but took two $2,000 limit bets on the Tigers to move the number to -6.5. He then bumped it up another point after news broke that Grier would be suspended.

Avello said he was not adjusting the Gators' odds to win the national championship at this time. Florida is 35-1 at the Wynn.

    ^Interesting.

Can't believe USC fired their coach a day after giving him a "leave of absence." Bielema is making an ass of himself again too. I can't believe he's going to be at Arkansas for very long.

Did the Iowa folks hear Danny Mac was fired from North Texas?

I wonder if Sark is going to sue USC now. I hope he gets better and the help he needs. Bielema has one of those faces you just want to punch, hating him was my favorite hobby while he was at Wiconsin. I lost touch with that hobby when he left Wisconsin for Arkansas.
