SAN DIEGO -- The Chargers' run of off-the-field problems continued with another arrest of a player Monday morning.
Defensive back, Cletis Gordon, an undrafted rookie, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence at about 2 a.m. Monday in the Gaslamp District, San Diego Police said.
He's the fifth Chargers player to have a run-in with law enforcement this year.
Former Charger Markus Curry was arrested last month and will be in court Monday for arraignment on domestic violence charges.
Charger linebacker Steve Foley was shot by an off-duty police officer who suspected him of drunken driving.
Chargers players Terrence Kiel faces drug charges and player Shaun Phillips was arrested after a scuffle with police.

Hey, San Diego is my home town!!! If you knew the reputation San Diego P.D. has, you'd see WHY everyone's going to jail. They're even on horseback in downtown. I really think these guys are trigger happy....if they're not shooting at Mexicans at the border, they're arresting football players and San Diegans in the Gaslamp area.
Anyway, I'm a die-hard football fan. We Bolt fans have Super Bowl Fever already. GO CHARGERS!! GO BOLTS!!

What the hell is up w/this shit man?? Freaking football players, think they are above the law or something.
Pro athletes and celebrities and their ilk ARE above the law. The "harshest" sentence these thugs will get is probably community service, which even that they can't even do honestly.
^Unfortunately, it's not just pro athletes or celebrities who are 'thugs'. REAL criminals often times are people like councilmen, judges, mayors and politicians. Don't let titles or outward appearances deceive you. San Diego has had it's share of real 'thugs' tarnish the city's image NOT just football players.
