Default Is anyone else watching the NBA or Stanley Cup playoffs?

We always talk about football, which is my favorite sport, but do y'all watch the other sports? I'm going for The Boston Bruins for hockey and The Miami Heat for basketball. They keep playing on the same nights so I'm constantly going back and forth between the two.

Shellee, I occassionally have your back, but this is just too fucking far for common decency. Actually cheering for the Heat? And a Boston team of any stripe?

NHL, Montreal is the only acceptable choice. And watching most of the games.

NBA, nah, no thanks, but definitely not the Heat. Catching an odd quarter or 2.

I was watching the NHL or at least keeping up with it until the Avs got knocked out

And just because the first NBA game I ever watched on TV was the Spurs, I'd root for them if I ever caught a game.

I watch NBA if its on tv, but the games start too late for me and I usually fell asleep. I've got no favourites, but here they make a big deal about the Spurs because Ginóbili plays there.
I used to watch Formula 1, but this year Hamilton seems to be winning a lot and I hate him. I will probably watch my favourite GPs (Monaco, Spa Francorchamps, Silverstone, maybe Monza) wishing for him to lose. I like Raikkonen but his driving for Ferrari now, and I also hate Ferrari.

I can't stand basketball, but I am watching hockey. Go Habs!

MrBoogs is a Pacers fantard (he wished Roy Hibbard a happy birthday for goodness sakes), so we have had every Pacer playoff game on. I firmly stand my ground that the NBA playoffs are rigged, so I just wear my tinfoil hate and spout nonsense about the rigging (especially when there are blatant fucked up calls from the refs).

We lead 3-1 over the Wizards, so if we win this round, then we play Miami. Of course Miami will win, because Miami is a bigger market than Indiana. My guess for the Championship series is....Miami vs. San Antonio. Thank god MrBoogs bought some heavy-duty tinfoil.

I have been watching a few games here and there of the NBS finals. I wish someone, anyone actually, would beat The Heat. Can't stand LeBron....such an arrogant ass and crybaby about everything. I want the Thunder to take it,...but I am not sure if they will even win this series against The Clippers.

I haven't paid close attention to the NBA since Charles Barkley retired. Love, love, love that man and I miss old school basketball. If I had to pick a team now I think I'd go for the Heat as well because I love Pat Riley so much. I was a huge Lakers fan back in the Magic Johnson days. I gotta admit I don't understand hockey but with all the violence you would think I would love it. I like to watch baseball in person but I don't follow it like I did when I was a kid. I was a Dodges fan when I was a kid/teen.

I'll watch baseball when nothing else is on. We pretty much suck in that too, but have actually done pretty well so far this year.

Yep, 2003 World Series winners, dismantled in 2004. Same thing for 1997.

I seem to have a vague and unpleasant recollection of 1997
