It sucks being on the west coast where everything is tape delayed. Opening ceremonies start in about ten minutes.

What are they there in Canada? I have heard Indians, Natives, Aboriginals, etc. What is PC there?

And damn, I ran into a forum on why Winnipeg sucks(do not ask how I got there) and geez they do not seem to like the 'natives' there.

Yay, it's the Canadian indoor snowstorm.

Ha, the burning question. When i was young, they were Native Indians, then Natives, then they became Aboriginals, then they decided to be called First Nations. Now, the PC term is (and i can't spell it) Inishinabe.

And yeah, Winnipeggers do not like Natives. There is a huge population in the Peg, and unfortunately, the vast majority are drunks and bums. Sorry, but it's true. They come to the city from the reserves and can't cope.

Well, Native-Canadians are called Aboriginals where I'm from. And I'm from Winnipeg. I do admit that aboriginals are looked down upon here. It's sad really.

Yeah, that, too. I think it's spelled Anishinabe.

Ah. Your mother's comment about the bottles makes more sense to me now.
