Well y'all need to beat Finland first then.

What about the Russians..what happened to them. *I admit I do not follow hockey-which is really bad since we actually have an NHL team here(but it sucks and I bet they leave in 2-3 years), but I would think the Russians would excel at this*?

Who could forget Fedor "Eyecandy" Andreev? Does he skate anymore? Isn't his mother a famous figure skating coach?

We're fucked then. I don't think I could bear another loss. Last night was humiliating.

I don't know. I think Virtue and Moir have rightfully earned their #1 spot.

Yes but now it's the medal round. Eliza: U.S vs Canada in women's hockey.
The Russian women aren't good. The U.S and Canada are the strongest in womens hockey.

Evan Lysacek & Nastia Liukin Are Dating

On his way to becoming the first U.S. man to win figure skating gold in 22 years, Evan Lysacek had a little help from another Olympic gold medalist gymnast Nastia Liukin.

The couple who met in October 2008 in Rapid City, S.D., while performing on the NBC special Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular confirm to PEOPLE exclusively that they've been dating since last summer.

"We became good friends and have become really close since then," says Lysacek. The two attended the ESPYs together last July and the relationship picked up steam after that, they say.

In August, Lysacek went to Dallas to cheer on Liukin during her gymnastics comeback at the U.S. Nationals. "It was cool but nerve-racking watching her compete to be on the balance beam like that? For me, it's easier to do it then watch it," says Lysacek, 24.

The couple switched roles this week when Liukin, 20, traveled to Vancouver to root for Lysacek. "To see his dreams come true was amazing," Liukin says. "Even though we're not in the same sport, we got to connect at the same level because there's nothing like the Olympics. It was nice to be on other side of things and be the support system, but I was nervous."

"She been so helpful to me," adds Lysacek. "She has been through it herself. If I'm having a bad day, she tells me to have faith and to keep going. Sometimes your support system has more faith in you than yourself. And when she tells me things are going to be fine, I really believe it."

    Handling Controversy

This week was no exception. After Lysacek's victory, the Russian delegation complained that silver medalist Evgeni Plushenko should have won because he completed a quadruple jump and Lysacek did not, even though the Olympic judges' scores revealed that Lysacek had the better all-around long program and superior jumps, spins and footwork to Plushenko.

"I think he's handling the controversy well," says Liukin, who lives in Dallas and travels to L.A. to visit Lysacek and work on business projects. "You work your hardest all year and when have something like that happen to you, it crushes you a little bit. Evan was a little upset, and I told him, 'You have worked your entire life and you have achieved the biggest reward in your sport, so enjoy every aspect of it.' "

After Lysacek's win, they did. When they're together in L.A., says Liukin, "We hang out, go to dinner and movies, and lay low. We have similar personalities we're both laid back."

In Vancouver, however, the couple have been going non-stop since Thursday night, when the celebration started at the USA House with friends, family and members of the USOC. On Saturday, they helped host a small gathering at the Procter and Gamble Family Home in Vancouver, which put on a birthday party for Lysacek's father, Don, and his uncle, Tate, who are twins.

Nastia Liukin, Evan Lysacek's Girlfriend? Maybe Not! Skater Says He's Single (PHOTO, VIDEO)

Is Nastia Liukin Evan Lysacek's girlfriend? It certainly sounded like it this morning, when People reported that the newly crowned men's figure skating gold medalist was dating Liukin, a gymnast and fellow gold medal winner:

"The couple -- who met in October 2008 in Rapid City, S.D., while performing on the NBC special Skating & Gymnastics Spectacular -- confirm to PEOPLE exclusively that they've been dating since last summer."

But just last weekend Lysacek, who won a figure skating gold medal on Thursday, said something very different. "I'm single," he told ET. "I haven't had any time for dating while I'm training. I'm lonely."

And now People has changed its story. The article now says that only Liukin -- and not "the couple" -- have confirmed the relationship.

Is it possible that feelings between the two gold medalists aren't mutual? A scan of their twitter pages reveals that the blonde gymnast has tweeted to Lysacek no less than seven times since the Vancouver Olympics began -- while the figure skater has mentioned her just once.

Scroll down to see Lysacek tell "ET" that he and Liukin are "very close" as well as a picture of the pair posted to the gymnast's Twitter page. The full interview will air Monday on "Entertainment Tonight."

His mom is Marina Zoueva who was, ironically, Gordeeva & Grinkov's coach. Fedor has some gorgeous skating, but is lazy and bit of a flake. Go to his myspace page if it is still up. He's skating for a former Soviet bloc country now, but didn't qualify in time to skate for them in the Olympics.

Well, I'm not one to gossip , but allegedly he had an affair with Rudy Galindo when he was only 17; Champions on Ice execs were appalled and even Boitano told Galindo to leave the kid alone. The Russian Federation got hold of it and gave Yags a stern talking to. He was also dating ice princess-cum-jailbird Nicole Bobek at the same time. It was somewhere around this time that Galindo tested positive for HIV - and half the skaters on COI were scared as shit - if they didn't sleep with Yags or Galindo, they slept with someone who slept with one of them. At best, Yags is bi. He never did a thing for me; I always found him to have butter face.

I don't know. I think Virtue and Moir have rightfully earned their #1 spot.
I know, I just want Belbin and Agosto to win gold. Or at least place ahead of Davis and White.
