    A tale of two brothers:

Brother 1, we'll call him P, marches his team up the field on opening possession. Brother 2, we'll call him E, gets picked. SMH.

Here's one on me, KC. Hell, the Bucs are coming with some fire. I'll take some myself.

    Crap! No Beer!!!

Oh man, this is going to be a long ass game. Romo might be hurt (perhaps not a BAD thing???) but what in the hell is going on with Dallas??? *sigh*

Dallas...just...why? The Saints let the Fucaneers score. This season is screwy as hell. Forget the beer. I'm going for the vodka.

Now Brother P is tossing to the other team. Argh!

They are both good coaches, so picking one of them would be difficult. Shanahan has proven his long term patience and talent building skills, while Cowher has proven his ability to take raw talent and refine it quickly. I guess it depends on what the organization is looking for the most.
Good point about the other side of the coin. And, yeah, any reporter asking Brees that question in New Orleans would be taking his life in his hands.

And Cowher and Shanahan are definitely good coaches, and they know how to turn teams around. I think Cowher would probably be a better fit with N.Y., though.

Brother E managed to bounce back from that...um..unfortunate incident. That pep talk Strahan gave the Giants make have done some good. Only time will tell.

And I can't believe the Steelers let the Chiefs score a 97-yard punt return on them. That was hysterical.

And the Browns/Lions game is actually turning into a real...game. Imagine that.

Ugh... its bad enough that Fox isn't carrying the Giants game, and I am forced to watch a crappy Cowboys/Redskins game, but to have to listen to stupid Joe Buck? He needs to stick with baseball.

Joe Buck should just stick to car commercials and his talk show.

I was leaning towards Cowher as well. They need an injection quickly. He can do it.

I bet the pep talk was Michael telling them to win or he would come back and "motivate" them in ways they really don't want.

Pittsburgh has been napping the last few weeks. What's happening to them.

They are playing equals. Good game.

Take Aikman and the whole CBS pregame cast with you on the way out, Buck!

Especially in the locker room showers.

I don't know. But they need to get it together. I wonder if Ben is distracted because of that rape lawsuit?

They fucked up the same way they did against the Chargers.

Atlanta kept trying to give Gonzalez the ball for a TD to tie, and the Giants just kept letting them do it until he got it.

EDIT: Finally, the Giants get a win...after screwing up a 14 pt lead. But a win is a win. But they've got a short rest because they play Denver on Thursday night.

Dallas lucked out. They suck - end of story. Even if they won, it seems to be pure luck and little talent. My husband breathed a sigh of relief that's for sure.

Yay Dallas! Even if the win was pathetic.

Congratulations Giants. Eli's coherent personality showed up today.

    Saints! Saints! WOOHOO!

    Steelers lost! Good times.
If the Patriots lose, this will be the best day, for me, in the season thus far!

Chiefs won! Maybe they'll start doing better without that malcontent Larry Johnson.

I am proud to announce that the lowly Detroit Lions have just beaten the Cleveland Browns 38-37 on the final play of the game. Whee doggies!
