Dallas would have thrown for that last touchdown if the roles were reversed,...no question. And rightly so,...this is the playoffs and you come to win.
Or the last two games Dallas won, 24-0, 34-14.

Just emotions and sour gripes that's all.

I hate after the fact whining. It's the playoffs, not powder puff. Score as much as you can to make your point.

I think the Jets have run their course and it will be Indy. Edwards is due for a bunch of epic drops to break the fans' hearts.

I'm really up in the air on the NFC match-up. I would like it to be the Saints, but I think that the way they ended the season doesn't bode well. Plus Favre seems to have made a deal with the devil and can seem to do no wrong (blech and yuck). It pains me to say Vikings, but I'll be rooting for NO.

Brookings needs to stop whining. When Dallas shut down the Eagles 24-0 (which was a BEAUTIFUL thing) I don't recall Brookings claiming that Dallas ran up the score on the Eagles. Dallas was thoroughly beating the Eagles when the score was 17-0, but that didn't stop them from scoring another TD anyway. Brookings should be more upset that Dallas couldn't even score a damn TD during a playoff game.

Hell, a few weeks ago the Vikings destroyed the Giants 44-7 at the Metrodome, and none of the Giants were whining about how Favre ran the score up. If you play like you want to win, then the score will reflect it, even if you lose.

It was probably in bad sporting spirit, but like Jimmy Johnson (I LOVE YOU!) said: "It was already an assbeating. If you don't want to get your ass beat, you play hard!"
Dallas played horribly - Romo got no protection, the defense was non-existent - they deserved to lose.

Kaeding also missed a clutch kick in a playoff game vs the Jets a couple of years ago. Jets went on to win the game.

I still can't believe the Jets fucking won. Wow.

My oldest brother, who is several years older than me, back when the drinking age in NY was 18, bought a bottle of champagne (he claims to have spent 'a lot'). He said that he wouldn't open it until the Jets won the Superbowl (he's a huge Jets fan obviously). Well.....that champagne still sits (also obviously) and has about 4 inches of dust on it. AND even more funny, my brother no longer drinks at ALL. BUT, he says he is still saving it for when/if the Jets win. He'll still open it. Hope he gets that opportunity.

Sorry Lynnie-girl, won't be this year. Y'all have Braylan Edwards, bad hands, bad karma.

Thanks for posting that video, King. My middle daughter, who is 15, LOVES Jared Allen. We saw this locker room scene after the game, but I will show her the clip again tonight. She thinks he is such a stud.

Did anyone see that one touchdown that Sidney Rice had, and he body slammed some guy dressed like a Viking? I had tried finding it yesterday, but had no luck. It was so funny,...and I think he even high fived the dude. I have noticed this guy at other games in the crowd, but he was down on the field for this weekends game. Maybe he is an official fan mascot for the team or just a freak fan.

I know. I think that was actually his rookie year, wasn't it? If it wasn't, he missed one then too. He's amazingly accurate. I've never seen a kicker like him before. It sucks that he chokes.

    No problem, Jade.

You mean this TD? Yeah, that was a great catch.
