2009-2010 NFL Season thread--bring your thoughts/bitches and WTF comments here!
Yes kiddies, its just a mere few hours away until the official NFL Kickoff for the 2009-2010 season!
As usual, I am extremely excited and have high hopes for my team. As usual, those high hopes will more than likely be dashed by Week 10 and yada yada yada.....but there's always that MAYBE!
Hope all you NFL fans will be there too and looking forward to a great season!
Who's with me???

I'm with you, Lynnie. I was going to start a thread about this tomorrow, but you beat me to it. Are you ready for some football? Hell, yeah I am.

Bring it on. I live in the Detroit area, and we all know the sad story of the team we have to cheer for here. Can't wait for another season of Lions' football. Yay!?

Browns fan for life cowering in the corner, hoping that THIS year our offense will score a touchdown. I dream big.

I'm hoping for one Lions win. It will be a triumph over last year's 0-16 stunner. You know your team is a laughingstock when the hometown "fans" (and I use the term very loosely) show up to the nationally televised games to cheer the OTHER team on so the winless record can be kept in tact.

Someone needs to confiscate Romo's wang and hold it hostage until he gets us to a superbowl again

My husband is a Cowboys fan. I like the Jets this year only because they have rookie Danny Woodhead (giggling at last name) is from my home state Nebraska, and went to college in my tiny hometown - Chadron. That's the only reason.

ALRIGHT!!! ITS UNDER WAY!!!!
Pittsburgh not looking so hot in the first few series, but as we all know, means JACK SHIT.
Hoping everyone has a great season, regardless of your team!! SOMEONES team will eventually win this shit, so I'm confident ONE OF US (or more) will feel good in Jan....
I am sooooo happy its finally the season though. I hate all this fucking around w/your QB's and bullshit....fuck that!
BEST OF LUCK TO EVERYONE AND HAPPY NFL KICK OFF TO ALL!!

Good game last night although the Titans should have had that in the bag. Too bad about Polamalu...the guy is INCREDIBLE!

I hope that Titans tight end Bo Scaife is going to be OK. He went to my college, and nobody ever, EVER thought he'd even get drafted -- he had already had both knees surgically reconstructed while in college, and had to sit out for quite a while there. It was totally against the odds for him to make it in the NFL, and to be doing so well. Last night, he got his knee hurt.

It looked like her had it hyperextended...could have been REALLY bad. Hopefully he is able to continue playing. It definitly was not on purpose.

My Giants play the Redskins this Sunday and, hopefully, they'll do well. I'm a little nervous this season since their defensive coordinator Steve Spagnola left to coach the Rams.
