Oprah's nose is smaller than it use to be

Oprah ain't had no nose job. And, yes, unfortunately, she does look like some sort of primate. But so does Ben Stiller.

I think it's just makeup. The makeup artist for her show is a genius. He was on her show once and talked about how she doesn't really have a defined bridge on her nose and he creates it with makeup.

You can tell on her magazine covers when someone else does her makeup -- she doesn't look nearly as good.

how did i guess something like that would turn up? this whole site is full of gossip and people paying out on celebrities and speculating on all sorts of crap. ben stiller was said to look like a primate... so why is it any different or somehow racist that oprah was also said to look like a primate? I love double standards

I think she had a nose job.

She's not ALWAYS under her Oprah show studio lights, juxtaposed in one position.

I've seen her under a variety of events, poses and lighting ( some without makeup e.g. marathon) and there's NO WAY it's the same nose.

Makeup can create only an illusion--it can't change the dynamics under the skin.

Not that it means anything to anyone on this board but in certain circles: hair dressers, make up artists and other personnel who work or have worked closely with Oprah, it is a known fact that she has had what is called an 'ethnic nose job'. From my understanding she has even made jokes off camera to make-up artists about how happy she is that her nose doesn't resemble those of other black celebs who have had nose jobs. Her nose job while very subtle is still evident. If one looks at more pictures or even footage of her closely you will see that her bridge has been built up and her nose width decreased. It is true that she does uses contouring on her nose to enhance its appearance but it has also been surgically enhanced. Many celebs who have had nose jobs still use contouring to enhance the bridge.

I really dunno - if it is a nose job its a really good one. It looks natural and it does look smaller. I know makeup can do wonders but she also claimed that she has never had ps before but who knows what to believe another point is that she is a very busy woman so it would be interesting to know if/when the nose job supposedly occured. Im not sure if she has been off camera long enough to do that sort of thing.

Good makeup and good lighting does wonders. She looks like a different person on her show compared to candid pictures.
