The inability to sing is so widespread in pop music (even in MY youth)
that I seriously think it's a requirement for music gigs rather than a
liability.
I liked some of Sugar Ray's hits. Who'd've thought I'd be his defender?
(I have to admit, when I first read the name I thought of Mark McGuire,
from McGuire-vs.-Sammy Sosa fame in baseball. Shows you what I know.)
