It's hard to meet people nowadays who are completely happy with the way their bodies are. Hence, it's is no wonder that there's a multi-billion dollar industry ready to alter every aspect of our bodies to our satisfaction. The CoCo Nose Clamp is one more offering from this industry, and promises to transform your ugly nose to one similar to Queen Cleopatra’s.

The product claims to be a support tool for the beautification of your nose. The technology itself seems to be pretty simple, with the device using pressure applied over repeated intervals of time to get that crooked nose a bit straighter. The areas that contact your nose are made of silicon, so you can supposedly wear it without any pain or discomfort. One size fits all since the size of the device can be adjusted by turning the knob. The company recommends that you not wear it all the time or while driving or sleeping.

Though I'm sure that wearing this on your nose is not a pleasurable experience, if it saves you from going under the knife, it may well be worth it.

I remember Oprah saying how she used to hate her wide nose when she was little and she would wear a clothing peg to bed or something hoping it would slim it down.

p.s. It's only 800 Yen (about $9 US) so I don't think it's such a waste of money if you wanted to try it out.

What makes this product even more ridculous is that Cleopatra was not known to be a great beauty. Many account said she had a big nose and her true beauty came from being intelligent, witty and being able to speak in several different languages.

Heh, yes! I've just finished reading 'Antony and Cleopatra' by Colleen McCullough, she is described as small, skinny with popped out eyes.

A coin from her time, apparently. Can't say she's a looker!

I find it hard to believe anything that is obviously manufactured from Japan. They sell so much useless crap.

I doubt the nose clamp can give stable good results.

I think it just gives the illusion of reshaping large noses, but I bet consumers will get bored of it in the end.

That figures. But famous women in historical sense aren't going to be known for that. Think about it; all the well known intelligent figures are always men, and the well known good looking figures are women.
