    so, how do you get the bread out of the jar? i just can't picture how this works, but i'm intrigued!
    white, black, puerto rican/everybody just a freakin'/good times were rollin'.

    you grease the jar before you bake it, putting the lid and band on as soon as it's out of the oven. When you open it and turn the jar over, it slides out (sometimes have to run a knife or spatula around it, but only takes a second). You have to use a wide-mouth jar - smaller neck won't work. Can put a swatch of fabric under the lid and is home made present.
    Don't worry about what other people think. They don't do it very often.

    Thanks for the good recipe, I just made this today. Yummy warm with a dab of honey butter.
    I like that it made so much, but I vastly underestimated the bowl size I would need to mix it. I melted the butter and mixed it with the wet ingredients instead of mashing it in and used 4 tsp of pumpkin pie spice instead of the separate spices.
