I am deeply suspicious of PETA. So I find the website rather amusing. I only spent about 5 minutes there, though.

I kinda havta agree. Sorta. To me, PETA is just another organized religion, so I don't trust it. I appreciate what it stands for, but I abhor a lot of its followers' tactics. Case in point: Throwing red paint on fur. I say "FUCK YOU, ASS-CLOWN!" to all those guilty of such. Just because you think you're morally in the right DOES NOT give you the legal right to destroy someone else's property.

Well there is always the neighbor's rat den(under their deck)...hmmmm...you know living right next to a 4 lane busy street you would think there would be more roadkill..years ago I used to have to scrape up dead cat, rat, squirrel etc. all the time..especially cats...now not so much..????? Of course now with the Cambodians next door and some Vietnamese down the street?....?

Heh heh... Sorta. You're talking about Bjork, right? In all honesty, bashing someone's head into the ground is a bit drastic. The only time I'd condone such behavior is if someone was causing me or my child physical harm (or trying to). But, in Bjork's defense: Taking unsolicited pictures of her child could put her kid in harm's way. How? Kidnappers, dude. So she went Momma Bear on the reporter, bashed her head in, and I say the paparazza got what she deserved. You don't go poking bears, dude, and you don't go teasing their young.

So... my point? I had one? Oh, yeah: I don't condone physical violence or destruction of property unless it is in self defense. That's why those red-paint-throwing PETA assholes piss me off. We teach little kids not to hit and cry to get what they want but to instead use words and reasoning. Should we expect any less from PETA's zealots? I think not.
