½ cup (125 mL) strong coffee
3 tbsp (45 mL) granulated sugar
8 oz (225 g) chopped semi-sweet chocolate
2 tbsp (30 mL) butter
½ tsp (2 mL) vanilla
1. In a small saucepan set over low heat, stir coffee with sugar until dissolved. Stir in chocolate and butter. Stir often until smooth and hot. Then stir in vanilla. Pour into a small bowl or individual ramekins. Serve with dippers.
