    Default Christmas recipes

With Christmas only 2 1/2 weeks away I've been baking pretty much every weekend. Up to now I've made 3 types of cookies, meat pies and sugar fudge (not sure who to say it in English but in French it's "Sucre à la Crème". I was wondering if any of you were willing to share Christmas recipes.

My recipe for Sucre à la Crème is here: http://www.gossiprocks.com/forum/rec...-la-creme.html

I will be making my chocolate truffles next week. The recipe is here:

I might make my chocolate peanut butter balls which are here:

Black Forest buche is a must in our family but my sister will be making it. Here is the recipe:

The cookies I have made can be found in the cookie thread:

Okay so I just made 3 batches of truffles tonight and I'll be making fudge soon.

Ambrosia recipe with coconut is a Southern favorite.

    Ingredients:
    • 1 cup orange juice
    • 3 medium oranges, peeled and sectioned
    • 1 can (8 ounces) pineapple chunks, undrained
    • 1/2 cup seedless red grapes, halved
    • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
    • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
    Preparation:

Combine juice, orange sections, pineapple, and grapes, stirring gently to blend. Refrigerate until serving time. Fold in coconut and pecans just before serving.
    This Ambrosia Recipe serves 6.

This is delicious and even better if you use fresh coconut. And fresh Pineapple.Looks grand in a glass trifile dish.
