Special drinks for New Year's Eve

We're having starfruit martinis, and bubbly. What are you having?

We'll start with the bubbly -- switch to the hard stuff -- then back to the bubbly for midnight.

Starfruit Martinis

Pour 2/3 orange juice or some kind of orange/citrus blend into martini shaker.
Add 1/3 pomegranate juice (if you have it).
Squeeze 1/2 sliced starfruit into juice.
Add vodka to desired strength.
Add ice cube to shaker.

Shake well. Strain into martini glasses and garnish with sliced starfruit. If you want to be really festive, add a couple of cranberries to the glass. My niece made these Christmas Eve and they really cheered us up!
