    Default Green Tuna Salad

First of all, trust me. If you like tuna salad and want to try something new, it's just great. I made it up.

    Canned tuna in water. 7oz.
    1/4 cup medium sized capers
1/4 of fresh lime - squeeze in juice

In a bowl, mix together for the dressing:

    3/4 cup Greek Yogurt
1- bunch finely chopped fresh dill (gotta be fresh)
2 stalks finely chopped scallions (green onions - the white part) (if you like onions)

Let the dressing chill in the refrigerator.

    Mix tuna mixture with dressing.

    To Serve: One avocado

Slice ripe (but not too ripe) avocado into medium slices, place on dish like a pinwheel and place tuna in the center.

Or slice avocado in half, filling each half with tuna.

Finely chopped basil on top is nice too.
Add red grape tomatos for color.

    Green enough for you?

    (not my pic)

This sounds so good, I'm going to make it for dinner. I love all the ingredients.

It's Balkan-style yogurt. It tends to be thicker and creamier than most North American yogurt, but perhaps some of the resident Greeks here can give you a better description. It tastes wonderful, IMO.

Depending on where you live, a good deli or supermarket should have it.

Any Greek Deli or any good middle-eastern deli will have it, also any good health food store!

My fridge is never without it. I make "Ayran" every day by mixing equal parts of it with purified water. As the Greeks and Turks (and others) say: "It cleans the system."

Sweetie, I don't know if your grocery store carries the brand "Mountain High", but that's what we use in Persian recipes. Very similar.

Trader Joe's sells their own as well as Fage brand. I've never checked, but I would think Whole Foods would carry Fage as well.
