MSG isn't really that bad. A lot of plants contain it's substrates.

MSG plays havoc with my digestive system which is why I avoid Asian food unless I cook it myself or the restaurant can guarantee there's no MSG in their food. Unfortunately, most of them can't. I wonder if Pepsi has MSG too? If not, it would explain why I prefer it to Coke.

HA! The great Coke/Pepsi debate. Pepsi girl here, always will be. Coke tastes metallic and 'watery' to me (even out of a glass bottle). I love Pepsi Max (not available in the US/Canada?) which is Diet Pepsi with added caffeine.

PS I just re-read my last post. Coke doesn't have MSG in it, KFC does. My bad. Early morning. Need coffee, need coffee............

Am I crazy or does the Coke in the States taste different than the Coke in Canada? Not as good as Canadian Coke...??

You aren't crazy! I noticed that too. Coke in Canada has a cleaner crisper taste without the after taste of American Coke. Sugar is used as the sweetener in Canada and high-fructose corn syrup in the States. They made the switch during the "New Coke" fiasco of the 80s. Actually, I haven't had Coke in a while. I hope they haven't started doing that here too.
