Default Healthy Creamsicle Smoothie!

I just made this now and it's delicious!

You can eyeball the amounts really

1 Cup of Frozen Berries

Enough orange juice to cover frozen berries

5 table spoons of Kefir, or plain yogurt

Place in the berries and orange juice in to the blender and blend until smooth. You can add ice if you want. Place the Kefir or Yogurt in and place it on a 'stir' mode, just slowly blend it in.

Enjoy!

I could kill someone for an orange/vanilla creamsicle milkshake right now. Healthy eating be damned.

Yes, must convince hubby to dust off the expensive juicer he insisted on buying and hasn't used since last September. The Veggie Patch sounds especially good.

Default Smoothie

Anyone have a favorite Smoothie recipe you would like to share.
I made up my own last Christmas. Keep in mind its not a real healthy smoothie but it sure is yummy

I fill half the blender with ice cubes and pour in egg nog and blend until smooth. Pour into a cup and top with nutmeg.

Sounds yummy I make smoothies with frozen fruit, because if I buy a weeks worth of fresh fruit it seems to go bad. I use frozen berries (whatever kind I'm in the mood for), frozen peaches, pineapples or mixed fruit (usually they have a good variety at the warehouse stores), ice, orange juice and a fresh banana to add thickness to it. It's super yummy Sometimes I switch up the orange juice with apple juice. It's important to use frozen fruit or fresh and not canned, because the canned it so smushy and filled with added sugar.
