Californa salsa chicken
This just might be the easiest recipe so far and absolutely delicious.
California Salsa Chicken:
Desired amount of cut up chicken pieces ( With bone and skin )
Breasts, thighs and drumsticks all work well.
1/2 cup Quality Orange Juice
( I haven't tried it with pulp but i'm sure it'd taste fine )
1/2 cup Of your favorite Salsa
1 tbsp Soya Sauce
1 tsp Brown Sugar
Bake in a 350 degree oven until cooked through ( Juices run clear )
Baste/Turn every 10 minutes
Serve over top of white or brown rice with your choice of sidedish.
A vegetable compliemented nicely is either corn or green beans.
And most importantly, enjoy!

Looks great, I guess the salsa and the oj/sugar create a nice dance-off tastewise... can we use honey I wonder?

Feel free to try it, but don't hold me responsible if it doesn't taste the same or if it's a complete disaster lol. But i'm sure that'd be great aswell.

I like this recipe, but I would remove the skin from the chicken.

You could certainly do that, it's preferable.

It is for me, I'm on a diet. Plus, I am so used to doing it that it is second nature.

That's good, it's much healthier.
My boyfriend actually prefers skinless chicken breast, where as I prefer the skin on. It's delicious either way.

Can you do this with boneless chicken breasts? My husband won't eat chicken off a bone because it's too "gross."
Whatever. Don't get me started.

Yeah, chicken breasts would work fine. My boyfriend's the same way, but I force him to try new things and he always ends up liking it.
