I think I saw this on one of my many recipe searches online, and it sounded really good. I may try it soon.

It sounded yummy to me too, but I've yet to make it. I'll have to dig my crockpot out from one of the cupboards. Or I guess I could do it in a slow oven.

This looks good. I will probably make it with less onions, because I don't really care for their flavor, but I'm definitely going to be trying it!!

Apples and onions taste good together. You could use a sweeter kind of onion. They add good flavour, and are actually good for you too.

Sounds delicious, darling.
Now if only my mom will let me borrow her slow cooker.
I also know that pork goes quite well with apples and other types of fruit.

I just remembered that one of ways I stuff turkey is with apples, chesnuts, celery, onion, sage, garlic and breadcrumbs, and it is fantastic. So I know that onions work with apples and herbs.

I love pork chops marinated in an apple sauce. Yum.

I made this yesterday and it is indeed delish. My oldest (6) turned her nose up at the cooked apples, but devoured the onions and chicken. I made it with thighs since they were on sale ... and i'm not traditionally a fan of dark mean, but the flavor in the chicken was amazing. Thanks for another great one PB.
