Default Quick n Easy BBQ recipes please

This is the 3rd week I don't have a kitchen. Renovations and missing tradies - don't get me started.......... SO Mr AO went out and bought a smart new Weber gas BBQ (with side gas ring for saucepan, wok etc) and it's great but I am running out of ideas.

I know the secret of a good BBQ is marinade and I'm happy to do that, within reason, but it's all getting a bit boring. Does anyone have a really good, quick, infallible BBQ recipe to help me feed my family through this crisis??

Chicken brochettes as we say in french or I think you call them kebabs in english.

4 chicken breasts cut into cubes

Marinade:
1/4 cup of sugar
1/2 c. of soya sauce
2/3 c. of oil
juice of one lemon
2 garlic cloves chopped

Marinate for 2-3 hours

12 mushrooms
1 green pepper
1 onion

Put chicken cubes, mushrooms, green pepper and onions on wooden stick and grill on the BBQ (These can also be made in the oven at 350F for 45 minutes)

If the grill does not have a flat area, get a pan that is flat, like one you cook pancakes with.

Grill chicken breasts with BBQ sauce until done

Move over to flat pan. Cover with cheddar, bacon (cook while chicken is cooking on flat pannel) Once cheddar is heated remove. Garnish with thinly sliced green onion before serving...
