Default Cabbage salad in aspic in all its green glory

By special request Cabbage salad in aspic

One small firm head of cabbage, sliced thin
Cover cabbage with cold water and let sit for 30 minutes.
Drain, wrap in cloth and place in fridge until ready to use.
Fold into one package of gelatin prepared to directions and mold.

You can also shred some carrots into the mix for a delightful colour contrast.

Hahah oh man my mom makes a mean tomato aspic and although I've never tried it my brother and I always joke to her that she'd better have it when we come home for Thanksgiving bc it wouldn't be Thanksgiving without that god-awful aspic.
