RB is right,
It aint Irish Coffee without Irish Whiskey.
And if you want a bit extra use cointreau instead of OJ

At my house Irish coffee is just coffee with Irish whiskey and a spoonful of sugar to help the cream float. I haven't come across it with citrus in it.

My Mum used to always make this for her and my dad at winter, my mums a bit of a lush though and there HAD to be whisky in it, a lot of it!
Its nice, its weird when you have the cold cream and hot coffee at the same time.

I used to make something similar, I think it was called a Good Marriage. You put in a tsp. each of kahlua, brandy, and creme de cacao, a little brown sugar (all adjustable depending on how you like it), fill the cup with strong black coffee, and float some whipped cream on top. Very good, and it packs a whallop.
