It's not really a recipe, per se, but they are really good and pretty popular around my house.
About 1/2 lb of halibut per person.
Trim skin and blood lines, cut to a little larger than fish stick size (about 3-4 oz)
Soak for a short time in buttermilk
From buttermilk into commercial fish fry coating (I'm a fan of the Zatarains)
Fry fish until golden (fish will be cooked)
Flour tortillas - I don't bother warming them
Mix 12-16 oz of sour cream with one packet of Simply Organic Fish Taco
Add as sides so people can assemble to own taste...
Diced Avocado (definitely get more avocado than you think you need, it goes fast)
Diced Red Onion
there's usually some sriracha or other hot sauce on hand.
Very messy, virtually impossible to actually eat as a taco but totally yummy.
