Hamburger recipes
We are trying to use our grill more instead of using the stove/oven this summer. Anyone have any good hamburger recipes.
I got a package of Good Seasons Italian Salad Dressing. You know the kind you mix with vinegar and water to make salad dressing. I thought Id use it to season my burgers. What do you think? Im kinda of boring when it comes to flavoring the meat for burgers. Usually Hidden Valley Ranch.

Re: Hamburger Recipes
I don't eat ground beef because I loathe it...so I voted no. Haven't had a hamburger in probably 25 yrs....and I'm 36. Have always hated them.
I do however, make a mean Black Bean Burger and am always looking for any good 'meat alternative' receipes.

Re: Hamburger Recipes
However much lean ground beef
a couple dashes of onion powder
a couple dashes of garlic powder
few dashes of chili flakes
a few eggs
a good few splatters of steak sauce ( i recommend bone-suckin sauce or beer & chipotle or HP sauce)
a little salt
some pepper
Voila. Can't go wrong.

Re: Hamburger Recipes
I like to mix some saute-ed finely chopped onions and carrots into ground beef, kinda like sulsbury steaks.

I usually use a bit of Worcestershire sauce and dry (powdered) steak seasoning in our burgers, and they are very good.

LynnieD, could you please share that black bean burger recipe? I don't eat red meat and I would love to try this.
When making burgers for my hubby and friends I always mix in salt, pepper, seasoning salt, garlic powder, onion powder, steak seasoning and HONEY. Everyone raves over the burgers if I add honey, I don't know what it does but they love it.

DH finally got me a crockpot and there are tons of recipes for crockpots online.
I'm going to make a meatloaf in the crockpot later this week; I'll let everyone know how it turned out.
