    Default Man Pleasing Chicken

With a title like that how could I not test it on my man? It was definitely "man pleasing" but keep in mind he's always pleased to be fed even when I'm doing the vegan thing and he's whining about tofu.

Oh and this woman really liked it too! I gave the recipe to BF and he said, "So easy I can do it!" Your house will also smell great.

Chances are you have the ingredients on hand. I used Trader Joe's Dijon which is my fave and real maple syrup. I'm not sure how that fake Aunt Jemima Log Cabin stuff would cook.

Man-Pleasing Chicken | Witty in the City

    Preheat your oven to 450

Line a baking dish with foil

    Combine the following:

    1/2 cup Dijon
    1/4 cup Maple Syrup
    1 TBS Rice Vinegar

Put a package of chicken thighs (I used boneless/skinless) in the dish and salt and pepper them.

Pour the mustard mixture over the thighs and turn to coat.

Bake for about 40 minutes, basting halfway through

Rest for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh rosemary.

I served it with Crash Hot Potatoes and steamed broccoli

When I saw this thread title I thought it was about a man molesting a chicken. I can't believe my mind went there.

This recipe is super simple and sounds good! We love chicken and it helps to learn new ways to make it tasty. Thanks!

Me too, sorta. I thought it was either a humor topic or bestiality, lol.

Me six. I read "pleasing" as "pleasuring" I suppose and cringed but clicked the link regardless.

It's not your fault. The way the sentence is constructed it basically says a man is pleasing a chicken.

The sentence needs a hyphen: "Man-pleasing chicken".

Can we please get back to the recipe?? I am not at all sure how maple syrup & mustard will work on chicken. You try it first...

Yeah, my first thought was 'how do they know the chicken likes it"?

I usually avoid recipes with gratuitous use of maple syrup but this sounds wonderful. Yes, someone should make it and report back.

This is where hyphenation makes all the difference. "Man-pleasing chicken" would make me think a little less about a man sexually taking advantage of a poor chicken.

But now the chicken sounds like a whore who's into it.

I did make it and it was awesome! My man was pleased!

It's not too mustardy or maple-y. More savory.
