Default Chocolate Sorbet

Despite all the stupid shit going on in my head I needed a chocolate hit. Maybe I needed a chocolate hit because of all the stupid shit going on in my head. lol I dont know. But here's something I have found and I love it.

1 cup cocoa
3/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1. Combine all but vanilla in a saucepan.
2. Heat on medium, stirring frequently, until the mixture reaches a boil.
3. Turn off heat, and stir in vanilla.
4. Chill.
5. You can either put in an ice cream maker or not. If you do not have one then stir the mixture 2 or 3 times whilst it is freezing.

I'm going to end up looking for some dark organic cocoa powder, but just used the normal cocoa powder the first time. Delicious.

Sounds good, but fattening! Cocoa is fattening all on its own, alas.

If you like mocha, I tried out a low fat granita, I'll find the recipe, and it's from my HiLo cookbook, so is pretty low in fat/calories/ etc
