Your Favorite Sandwich
two slices whole wheat bread, "squaw" bread or something similar.
Cream cheese on both slices, add roasted salted cashew halves, alfalfa sprouts, spinach, thin sliced carrots, thin sliced seedless cucumber, peppercinni or thin strips of red bell pepper... mm mmm good!

Re: Your Favorite Sandwich
I am liking chicken salad with grapes and toasted almonds on white bread at the moment. A good cucumber sandwich is yummy too.

Re: Your Favorite Sandwich
I've been trying to cut calories and couldn't believe a wrap is 177 calories but a piece of low fat wheat bread is only 40 cals. a piece. I've been eating turkey, lettuce, tomatoe and a pickle for lunch, boring I know. Keep suggestions coming!

Re: Your Favorite Sandwich
thinly sliced rye bread with dijon mustard, baby spinach, beetroot slices, tomato (seasoned with basil), cucumber.
Sometimes I have strange things in my sandwich like..a bit of ricotta, baby spinach, strawberries and carrot.
Of If I'm miserable: thin slices fruit loaf (one slice) spread with all natural crunchy peanut butter and banana topped wtih sliced strawberries.
Oh and being a true aussie: vegemite, lettuce and (when I used to eat it) chedder cheese. Its the only thing that makes me miss cheese.

Peanut butter, lettuce and bacon - Elvis would be so proud of me. And don't go 'ewwww'. Try it and tell me I'm wrong.

Re: Your Favorite Sandwich
hmmm.
I like all those things, but take away the peanut butter and slap a tomato on there, and we are in business!

Re: Your Favorite Sandwich
Native tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, olive oil, and fresh basil on Italian bread. Can't wait for tomatoes to be good again.

Turkey with provolone cheese, sliced tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, mayo and mustard on white bread roll. This sandwich is my absolute favorite.
