I don't know about anyone else but I love, love, love seafood. We eat it a great deal here and I have recipes I've picked up from all over the place. This one comes from a motel on Chinchoteague Island.
8 ounce Muenster cheese, shredded or diced into small pieces
8 ounce fresh scallops (you can also use the fake scallops too)
3/4 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Sometimes I substitute a tablespoon of powdered seafood seasoning for the salt/pepper/paprika and add a chopped onion.
Mix all ingredients together and season to taste. Pour into a glass pie plate or quiche dish. Top with chopped green onions. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let set for 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
