I'm baking a chicken pot pie but
I'm using the pilsbury crescent roll dough (whole grain version) instead of a pie crust/dough. Do you think it'll come out ok?
It's already in the oven so there's no turning back but yea I'll see.

I love chicken pot pies, too but was extremely dissapointed with the one at Swiss Chalet  (huff huff).

Uh oh - if you are using crescent dough I think you might end up with Chicken Croissants. But it will be interesting.

Okie, I went and had a little taste. My midnight snack, hehe. It turned out more like biscuit (like if you had coooked it using Bisquick) instead of fluffy and pastry-like as in crossaint or pie crust.
 Mine looks like this

Since I used the whole gain version I think it has a richer taste and is prolly healthier.
I'll call my creation a success.  It's yummy~
